What payments methods do you accept?

Paypal or credit card payment is preferred. 

If you do have a Paypal account you can also make payments from you bank account by attaching a bank account to your paypal account.

Alternatively, you can contact us to pay for products with an email money transfer. For this method of payment, please email us the list of products you would like as well as your shipping address. Please note that your email money transfer needs to be sent to us within 48 hours of us sending you the total for your order.

All prices listed here are in Canadian dollars.


Please note that Paypal will do all currency conversions - so you can place an order no matter what country you're in, or what currency you're paying with.

Do you ship to my country?

Batty’s Bath is proud to say we ship worldwide.

However, we reserve the right to decline shipping on orders outside North America.

When will my order be shipped? Has my order been shipped?

Please log in to the "My Account" section of the shop to see the status of your orders as well as see any tracking numbers. You will receive an email when your is shipped.

After receiving payment, we ship items that are in stock within one week (see more below).

We ship orders twice a week (and can not accommodate shipping any faster at this time). 

  • We ship on Tuesdays & Fridays
    • Tuesday shipments include orders placed on the previous Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
    • Friday shipments include orders placed on the previous Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • The exceptions to our typical shipping schedule are discussed below. 

 

Order status and tracking numbers are updated when postage has been created for your order.

If there is ever a significant delay before your order can be shipped, we'll email you. 

Exceptions to my typical turnaround time include:

  • during local/national holidays (when the post office is close)
  • during peak holiday times (for Batty's Bath that's October through the end of January)
  • when we are experiencing a higher than usual volume of orders (like during special events and sales)
  • large custom orders and wholesale orders - these order types don't follow our typical shipping schedule.

You'll always receive an email when your order has been shipped.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES:

These guidelines indicate the estimated delivery time AFTER your order has been shipped (which is generally a week after your order has been placed - see "When will my order be shipped?" above for more info on processing time lines) 

These guidelines are for "AIR MAIL WITH TRACKING" (expedient mail). If you picked "Air Mail with NO Tracking", the delivery time will be longer than fastest estimate. 

*Please also note that the postal service tends to have slower delivery times during the holidays.

Within Canada:
Usually takes 5 to 10 business days

To the US:
Can take 5 to 20 business days but usually arrives within two weeks.

International Orders:
Can take 4-12 weeks. During the spring and summer orders usually seem to arrive within 6 weeks but take much longer in the fall and winter (the closer we get to Christmas, the longer the parcels take to arrive).

How do I track my order?

Please log in to the "My Account" section of the shop to see the status of your orders as well as see any tracking numbers. If your order was shipped via Air Mail, Ground Mail, and Small Packet Mail, it will not have a tracking number. Most orders are shipped via Expedited Parcel Shipping (with Canada Post) and will have a tracking number.

Use your tracking numbers at the Canada Post website to track your parcel. If your parcel is going to the USA, you can track it via the Canada Post website until it crosses into the USA. Once it crosses into the USA, you can track it the rest of the way at the USPS website. 

 

How to track an order being shipped within Canada:

  • Get your tracking number by logging into your ShopBattysBath.com account. Your tracking number is also available in the shipping confirmation email you will have received after postage was created for your order.
  • Head over to CanadaPost.ca and follow the tracking instructions (paste your tracking number into the tracking number box).
  • You'll now be able to follow along with your order's journey 

 

How to track an order being shipped to the USA:

  • If your order was shipped via Small Packet Air Mail, no tracking number is available. 
  • If your order has a tracking number, get your tracking number by logging into your ShopBattysBath.com account. Your tracking number is also available in the shipping confirmation email you will have received after postage was created for your order.
    • Note: if you log into your ShopBattysBath.com account and it says "N/A" in the tracking number spot (or the spot is blank), there is no tracking number for your parcel.
  • Head over to CanadaPost.ca and follow the tracking instructions (paste your tracking number into the tracking number box).
  • Have a look at the most recent entry. If your parcel has left Canada, and entered the USA, go to USPS.com
  • Once you're at USPS.com, follow the tracking instructions (paste your tracking number into the search box)
  • You'll now be able to follow along with your order's journey

Incorrect Addresses, Non-deliverable, or Refused Shipments

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their mailing/shipping address is correct. Batty's Bath ships to the address given at checking out. Please ensure the address you pick while completing your paypal payment is correct and matches the shipping address given during check out. Batty's Bath is not responsible if a customer has made errors when providing their shipping address.

When package are returned to Batty's Bath marked ‘Returned’, ‘Unclaimed’, 'Refused', or ‘Invalid Address’, the customer will be contacted. The customer will then have 2 options:

  1. To have their order refunded, less: a 20% restocking fee, all shipping charges, and the fee charged to us by Canada Post to pick up the returned parcel.
  2. To have their order re-shipped to an address to that can accept the order (with signature confirmation). If this option is picked, the customer will need to pay the fee charged to us by Canada Post to pick up their returned parcel as well as the shipping fees to re-ship their order.

I just placed an order but my Batty's Beauty Rewards total didn't change, why?

Points on orders aren't added to your total until the order is marked as "complete" in our system. Orders are marked as complete after they are shipped. After you receive an email letting you know that your order has been shipped, you'll see the points you earned on that order added to your total.  

 

How do I check how many Batty's Beauty Reward points I have?

Check your points total any time by logging into your account; after logging in, check the "Batty's Beauty Rewards" status tab in the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

Note, you may need to switch to "desktop view" to see the rewards tab.

Are returns accepted?

Due to the nature of our products, Batty’s Bath does not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances.

  • Should your order arrive, and something is clearly wrong with the product(s), or the product(s) have been damaged in transit, Batty’s Bath, on a case-by-case basis, may offer to resend the product(s) or issue a refund.
  • In order to have your products resent or a refund issued, you will be required to provide photos of the damaged products.

Can I request a custom item/order?

Batty’s Bath formulas are designed in a manner to optimize their effectiveness. We will not entertain any requests to add, or eliminate any ingredients that are currently a part of any formula, including requests made due to allergies.

Batty’s Bath welcomes customer feedback on any and all products, but due to the time restraints of producing handmade commodities, we cannot accept custom orders, including requests for “bulk” sized products.

I have allergies/sensitivities. Are your products ok for me?

If you have allergies or sensitivities, please be sure to check the ingredients listed in each product section before purchasing and for more information about ingredients, see our ingredient info page, or contact me - I'd love to help!

As with all bath and beauty products, avoid sensitive areas and test a small area before applying liberally.

Please note that even though our products smell super yummy, they are for external use only.

NUT ALLERGIES: please note that many Batty's Bath products include nut ingredients and my studio is NOT a nut free environment.

Are your products gluten free? 

Below is a list of products that contain gluten:

While any products that aren't listed above are believed to be gluten free, it's important to note that none of Batty's Bath products have gone through thorough testing of gluten levels.

I have a question about expiry dates...

My creams, soothing cleanser, wet clay mask, and a few other products have an expiry date sticker on them. I put an expiry date of six months from when I made the product but this is a very conservative estimate to account for any products that might end up in less than ideal conditions (for example, left in a hot car). If the products are kept in ideal conditions there expiry date is close to double of what the sticker says.

If a product has an expiry date of a year and a half or longer I don't put an expiry date sticker on it. Additionally, many of my products, like my soap for example, don't expire.

Is my privacy protected? / Privacy Policy

Batty’s Bath takes your privacy very seriously. Any personal information shared with Batty’s Bath is kept strictly confidential and is only available to Batty (Jamie Sabot) and the Batty’s Bath Virtual Assistants. Batty’s Bath will never trade or share any of your personal information.

Should you use PayPal as your method of payment, we do not receive access to your credit card numbers, bank accounts and information the like. Your personal information is kept secure by PayPal. Similarly, should you ever choose to you our Square reader at a Batty’s Bath event, Square is the confidential holder of your personal information, and we will not have access to it.

Have you seen these icons on our product pages and wondered what they meant? Wonder no more! Here's what each icon means...

antiox.pngWhile almost every single one of our products contains antioxidants, this icon indicates that this product has antioxidants in spades! Antioxidants are nature's free radical fighters and have a ton of bonuses for the skin (as if it fighting free radicals wasn't enough!). See individual product pages or our ingredients page for specifics.

antibac-mild-w.pngThis product contains one or more antibacterial ingredients. The specific antibacterial ingredients in this product are extremely mild. One example would be Lavender Essential Oil.

Additionally, Batty's Bath is against animal testing and never uses ingredients that have been tested on animals to create our products (and we test our own products on our human friends, fans, and family).

This product is vegan-friendly and does not contain any animal containing ingredients including being free of honey and beeswax (the only 2 non-vegan ingredients we use).

Additionally, Batty's Bath is against animal testing and never uses ingredients that have been tested on animals to create our products (and we test our own products on our human friends, fans, and family).

vitaminc.png This product contains vitamin C. This vitamin contains impressive amounts of antioxidants and is known to aid in the brightening of skin (i.e. helping reduce the signs of aging) and protecting it from free radicals. Vitamin C is also a natural alternative to drugstore toners, by helping reduce dark spots and other sun damage. When used as part of an acne skin care routine, it can also help reduce inflammation and dims post acne redness. Not to mention, skin will feel firmer thanks to its ability to increase collagen production.

How are the cold press/processed soaps packaged?

SIGNATURE SOAP LINE: Each soap comes wrapped in recyclable paper. The paper wrap has the ingredients, soap name, and additional information on it. Here's an example:

LIMITED EDITION SOAP: Each comes wrapped in tissue paper with a soap card attached (with an elastic). The soap card has the ingredients, soap name, and additional information on it. An example picture is shown below. 

Glycerin soaps are packaged differently because they are a different type of soap that needs to be sealed/protected from drying out. Glycerin soaps are packaged in a plastic zip lock bag with a sticker label attached.

Are any of your ingredients micronized? / Do your ingredients include nano particles?

You can be rest assured that none of the ingredients we use are micronized. None of our ingredients include nano particles.

Is the titanium dioxide used in your products coated?

Many manufacturers use titanium dioxide that is coated with silicone, which may clog your pores. It may also be coated with aluminum hydroxide. Rest assured that the titanium dioxide used in Batty's Bath products is NOT coated with silicone or aluminum hydroxide. The titanium dioxide we use is free of toxic coatings and is safe for acne prone skin.

Tell me more about jojoba wax beads. 

Are they micro beads?

First off, nope - no micro beads here! Batty's Bath only uses biodegradable, plant-based wax (that's in the shape of beads! How brilliant is that?!). You'll never find those nasty, environmentally destructive plastic beads in our products.

Request for Freebies, Samples, or Donations

Batty’s Bath is currently involved with a number of local charities that are close to Batty’s heart, and as such, does not accept requests for charitable donation to outside organizations at this time. A list of Batty’s Bath’s ongoing, charitable activities can be found here

If your charity is in Ontario and would like to partner with Batty’s Bath to raise money, please check out our Annual Soap Drive for charity (more info is available here).

If you have never tried Batty’s Bath products before, sample sizes are available in the online shop at a reduced price.

If you are a professional Product Reviewer (ie. Blogger, YouTuber, etc.), and are wanting to make a request for free products to try, please be advised that only a limited number of requests will be considered for review at the beginning of each fiscal year. Please submit your requests before the online shop closes in December for holidays, in order to be considered for the following year’s business planning.

Although Batty’s Bath appreciates your interest in our products, we will only take into consideration those requests which are made by individuals/companies that share similar beliefs and values as those of Batty’s Bath.

General Shipping and Delivery Info

Batty’s Bath is proud to say we ship worldwide. However, we reserve the right to decline shipping on orders outside North America.

All orders will be held until a full payment has been received. Once a full payment has been processed, your order will be shipped the following Monday. Please be advised that if you select electronic bank transfer (via PayPal) as your method of payment, there is a slight delay in the payment process. Please refer to your PayPal account for an estimated date of processing.

Please log in to the "My Account" section of the shop to see the status of your orders as well as see any tracking numbers. You will receive an email when your package has been shipped.

Batty’s Bath ships orders once a week (and cannot accommodate shipping any faster at this time).

If you place an order after noon on Friday, your order will placed in sequence with the following week’s orders. Orders placed before noon on Friday are shipped on the Monday immediate following that Friday.

Order status and tracking numbers are generally updated (in your "My Account" section) by the end of the day on Tuesday.

If there is ever a significant delay before your order can be shipped, Batty’s Bath email you. We regularly announce these sort of delays via social media as well.

The only exceptions to our typical turnaround time for in stock items is...

  • during local/national holidays (when the post office is close)
  • during peak holiday times (for Batty's Bath that's October through the end of January)
  • when we are experiencing a higher than usual volume of orders (like during special events and sales)
  • large custom orders and wholesale orders don't follow our typical shipping schedule.

Batty’s Bath is not responsible for any additional delivery charges one may encounter when receiving their packages. These additional fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Should you choose not to add a tracking number to your order upon check out of your purchase, Batty’s Bath is not responsible for lost orders.

International orders are shipped air mail and does not automatically include a tracking number. Should you wish to have a tracking number added, you must request it during your check out process in the ‘notes’ section. You will also incur an additional charge for the added tracking number, in which Batty’s Bath will contact you regarding before your order is processed. Please note the additional charge is generally double the international shipping fee that you are charged automatically during your check out.

Changes to Orders

If you would like to change/modify your order after it has been placed there will be a $15 administration charge.  Please email your change request to contact at battysbath.com and we will send you a separate PayPal invoice for the administration charge to be paid before your change(s) will be processed.  Please allow at least 3 days to process your invoice and order change.  This may delay the shipment of your order accordingly.

Cancellation Fees

Should you require an online order to be canceled for any reason, a cancelation fee will apply.

  • For orders under $100 before applicable taxes, the cancelation fee will be $5
  • For orders over $100 before applicable taxes, the cancelation fee will be $10

Coupon Codes & Online Deals

Only ONE coupon code can be applied to each individual order. Should you attempt to use more than one coupon code on your order, the last coupon code entered will be the one that is applied to your final total.

Email Consultations & ‘Free’ Advice Policy

Batty has spent many a year developing her knowledge on skin care to ensure her products are of top quality and effectiveness. However, she is not a medical professional, and all information provided by Batty, and her Virtual Assistants, should only be taken as opinion. You should always consult with your health care provider before making any major changes to your health and diet.

However, Batty provides you with numerous resources in which you can use to help build and tailor your skin care to your needs. Should you have a question that is not covered by any of the available resources, please feel free to send an email to contact@battysbath.ca. Please note, that while we'll provide you with all the answers you need to continue your skin care journey in a positive direction, Batty cannot provide ‘free’ full consultations via email. If you question requires a detailed answer that isn't currently available in our resource database, Batty may choose to answer your question in a blog post or via another resource that she makes public for all Batty’s Bath customers. There is no guarantee that your email will be featured, but if it is, you will be sent a personal note to let you know.
